Who Needs a Visa?

The issue of who needs a visa can seem overwhelming, but the Department of State has a program called the Visa Waiver Program. This program includes over 40 countries of origin. This means that if your country of origin is on this list and you have fulfilled the other requirements, you may enter the U.S. without a visa and stay for up to 90 days.

If you fall into this category and do not need a visa, you will still be required to apply and have a valid Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) approval prior to boarding a U.S. bound air or sea carrier. If you are not eligible for the Visa Waiver Program, there are a few different types of visas you may consider applying for, which are further detailed below.

Types of Visas

We assist clients in obtaining various visa types to meet their specific needs. Some of the types of visas we help with are:

Family-Based Visas

We guide families through the process of obtaining visas that allow them to reunite with their loved ones in the U.S. This includes visas for spouses, children, parents, and other eligible family members.

Visas Extensions

We assist individuals with approved visas, file an extension of their visa to ensure the applicant’s lawful stay in the United States.

Our attorneys have a deep understanding of the specific requirements and procedures for each visa category, ensuring that our clients receive accurate guidance and effective representation throughout the application process.
