Christine B. Vazquez is a bilingual attorney of Puerto Rican and Cuban descent, with a passion for providing justice to all individuals caught in a legal crossfire. As a founding member and partner of Central Justice, Ms. Vazquez devotes her practice to criminal defense, family law, and immigration matters. Specifically, her expertise in navigating the impact of criminal cases, family law matters, and individual rights on immigration cases proves invaluable to her clients. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ms. Vazquez began her career as a public-school teacher in South Florida working primarily with the Haitian creole-speaking community. She then attended Barry University School of Law, in Orlando, Florida. In law school, Ms. Vazquez was elected as President of the Hispanic American Law Student Association, and Vice President of the Immigration Law Society. Ms. Vazquez furthered her studies in Salamanca, Spain, and later, at the UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education in Delft, Netherlands. She went on to complete her legal internships with the Carolina Refugee Resettlement Agency in Charlotte, NC and was an in-house counsel intern for the School Board of St. Lucie County, Florida. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
After law school, Ms. Vazquez joined Katz & Phillips, P.A., as an associate attorney. During that time, she furthered her training in criminal law, self-defense law, and Second Amendment (firearm) rights. Throughout her career, Ms. Vazquez has successfully handled countless cases involving misdemeanor and felony offenses, firearm licensing and the reinstatement of Second Amendment (firearm) rights, as well as immigration petitions, visas, and naturalization cases. In addition, she has served as the featured speaker for gun law seminars throughout Florida in both English and Spanish. Ms. Vazquez has taught Floridians about Florida Gun Law, How to Survive an Active Shooter Situation, Traveling with Firearms and What to Expect in the Aftermath of a Self-Defense Encounter, among other topics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
